Ventura County Red Devils

Founded in 2005 by Olympian Ben Maruquin and currently under the direction of former USA National Team Captain Shawn Nakamura, the Ventura County Red Devils Field Hockey, Inc. (VCRD) program provides high-quality training as well as opportunities for local and travel game play. The VCRD program has produced numerous USA National and Junior National Team and collegiate players throughout its history.

Ventura County Red Devils Field Hockey, Inc. is a California Corporation and 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization.

Mission  Statement

The mission of Ventura County Red Devils Field Hockey, Inc. (VCRD) is to teach young athletes respect for them- selves and their community based on the core values of fun, responsibility, sportsmanship and team work. VCRD is committed to providing high performance youth training programs and competition opportunities for boys and girls. Teaching VCRD’s core values in these programs provides an environment conducive to achieving success at the highest level possible and helps to prepare our members for collegiate and international play while also developing a life long love of the game.
