Field Hockey Federation Founder

Tom Harris founded the Cal Cup Field Hockey Tournament, first held at Moorpark College in 1972 with 6 teams.  Tom corresponded, and invited a team from Kiel Germany, which attended then took home the first Cal Cup!



Tom & Karen Harris founded the Field hockey Federation, Inc. in 1984 as a non profit 501c3 corporation to grow & promote youth field hockey leagues and tournaments at their Moorpark College field. 

Many youth hockey players came out of the Field Hockey Federation to later be selected to play high school, college, USA Junior National Team and USA National Teams.  Some of these athletes went on to represent USA in the Pan American Games, Olympic Games and World Cup competitions.
